You probably already know that there are hundreds of ways to make money online. Every person is different; different interests, knowledge etc. Finding the correct way for you can sometimes be a challenge. Investing your money is also very important but with the economic recession, the stock market hasn’t been the most promising way to invest your money lately. If you are educated in finance, you probably have some knowledge of the foreign exchange market aka Forex. I have studied the foreign exchange market and find it to be very interesting.

Forex is similar to the stock market but very different. With forex the economic recession can actually be a good thing. You can make money when our dollar loses value against another currency. Another feature of the forex market is leverage. When you deposit money into your forex account for example, $50. If the broker offers a 100 to 1 margin deposit, you can now buy and sell $5,000 worth of currencies and still minimize your risk by setting stop losses. If your margin runs out, you can never lose more than you have deposited. You will then be required to make another deposit into your account. Forex doesn’t charge transaction fees either, well sort of. You trade directly with the market so there are no broker fees for each trade but instead they have what is called a spread. There is a slight difference in the buy/sell price which is where the brokers are funded. Most platforms also allow you to set up free practice accounts to gain some experience before trading actual money. A great website to visit is www.babypips.com. Its free to join and it teaches you the in-depth concepts of the foreign exchange market. I will touch on this subject more later. Please post your comments below. I would love to hear from anyone with experience in trading currencies, good or bad.
